About Lodi Lake Park

Lodi Lake Park, located at 1101 West Turner Road, is one of Lodi’s major attractions. This man-made lake hosts 200,000 visitors annually. The pristine nature preserves around the lake, the nature programs and docent-led tours, the serene boating and kayaking experience including lessons for beginners and kids, river tours or charter boat tours and lakefront camping would ensure you have a memorable time at Lodi Lake Park. You should check out the timings for the river tours. Most charter tours last an hour and a half and are for a maximum of ten people. These tours usually start in April and are operated throughout summer.

Lodi Lake has a sizeable sandy beach where you can sunbathe, plan playtimes for your family and friends, there is a spray pool and a tiny tot water feature. The beach is accessible on Wednesdays through Sundays, from the Memorial Day weekend to the 31st of July and then from the6th of August to Labor Day. Adults need to pay $3, children aged three to seventeen pay $2 and kids younger than two get free admission. While public swimming is allowed, floatation devices or diapers are prohibited on the water. Glass containers and alcohol are also prohibited. Disposable swim pants for kids can be purchased at the site.

Boating is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. You will need to pay a launch fee of $13 for every gas-powered watercraft. This includes entrance fee for vehicles. If the watercraft is not trailered, then the usual vehicle entrance fee is applicable. Residents pay $4 while tourists pay $5 and an annual pass costs $50. Seniors and disabled get discounts.
