Oak Ridge Winery was established in 1934. It is the oldest winery that continuously operates in the city of Lodi California. Owned and managed by the Maggio and Reynolds families, the winery is known for its estate wines. It was a winemaking cooperative at one point in time before the families acquired the estate in 2002. Today, Oak Ridge Winery is a state of the art facility with modern equipment and winemaking techniques.

Oak Ridge Winery secures produce from estate vineyards in the American Viticultural Area of Lodi. The area comprises of five hundred acres of vineyards between San Francisco Bay and the foothills of Sierra Nevada. The Mediterranean climate of the region, accentuated by cool sea breeze during evenings and warm afternoons, is perfect for the finest quality of wine grapes. The region is known for some of the best zinfandel wines produced in the world. Oak Ridge Winery is committed to producing quality wines, ensuring the whole process from the vineyards to the table is completely regulated to maintain the best standards of production and delivery. Some of the popular wines from Oak Ridge Winery are OZV, 3 Girls, Old Soul, Maggio, Lodi Estates and Moss Roxx. Visiting Oak Ridge Winery is one of the essential things to do in Lodi. There is a lovely wine tasting room at 6100, East Victor Road, inside a redwood tank with a capacity of fifty thousand gallons. The tasting room is called The Wine House. You can visit the winery on Tuesday through Sunday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The last pour is at quarter to five. The winery is not open to the public on Mondays. In addition to the tasting, you can explore the various steps of winemaking. You can tour the vineyards where some of the vines are a century old, and a few are older. The mature vines offer a distinct quality of grapes that make the wines bolder and certainly more satiating for the right palate.
