Micke Grove Zoo, located at 11793 Micke Grove Road, is a small zoo that occupies about 5 acres of land in the Central Valley city of Lodi. Micke Grove Zoo was established in 1957 and is situated within Micke Grove Regional Park in Lodi, California. The Micke Grove Regional Park features the namesake zoo, San Joaquin Historical Museum, a lot of shelters for a picnic, a Japanese garden, and a small amusement park.

The Zoo welcomes lots of visitors that visit the park. This zoo is a home to over 170 animals including native Central Valley animals, exotic and endangered species. It is a great place to explore and also learn through exploration, with a variety of animals to see. The animals that can be seen at Micke Grove Zoo range from reptiles to mammals, birds and amphibians, including rare species of tamarins, lemurs, iguanas and squirrels, radiated tortoise and lots more.

If you plan to pay a visit to this zoo, it is advisable to come during the morning hours or late afternoon because the animals are usually in their most active states at this time. The Zoo is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Sunday, except on Christmas Day. Admission to the Zoo is inexpensive as adult admission costs $5, while children 3 years and older pay just $3.
